He was predeceased by: his parent O. C.; his sisters, Sylvia Gibson Alcorn and Frances Gibson Craddock; and his niece Alice Beth Alcorn. He is survived by: his son Gibson (Magdalene Cook Gibson); his wife Debra Yurich Gibson; his stepson Joseph Wilson (Tyra); his sister Anna Gibson Carter (Tommy); his nephew Lee Craddock (Myra); and his niece Karen Setliff (Johnny).
