It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Allen Lohr of Ridgeway, Virginia, who passed away on December 7, 2023, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Kelmer D. Lohr and Iva Moats Lohr; his former life partner Paula Susan Lohr; and his daughter-in-law Shawn Lohr. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Draper Lohr; his children, Julia Coreas (Terry), Danny Lohr and Richard Lohr (Sherril); and his sisters, Claire Owens and Kathy Shaffer. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
