She is survived by: her children, Sandra Compton Zalanka and Howard Compton; her grandchildren, Christine Kline, Amanda Meadors, Jason Meadors (Sydney), Justin Zalanka and Kacie Compton Vanes; and her siblings, Joyce Walters Epperly, Mary Sue Walters West, Eddie Walters, Nelson Walters, George Walters (Linda) and Roger Walters. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in any amount to be given to Cedar Springs Union Church in Barbara's name.
