Helen Naff Altizer Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Helen Naff Altizer of Riner, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 14, 2026 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Naff and Melissa Naff; and her husband Don. She is survived by: her daughter Donna; her son-in-law John Richardson; her son Jim; her grandson Alex Altizer; her son Richard Altizer (Deneise); her daughter-in-law Martha Altizer; her grandchildren, Wesley Altizer (Sasha) and Amanda Lovelace (Daniel); her great grandchildren, Elias and Elinor Lovelace; her sisters, Joyce Moore and Lola Clower (Harless); her close friends, Wayne and Dolores Brockenbrough; and her daughter-in-law Deneise Altizer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and many friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to Scholarship for Campers at Camp Alta Mons established in memory of her grandson Alex.
