He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Gray and Thelma Thompson Altizer. He is survived by: his wife Katie Morgan Altizer; his siblings, Michael, W. Terry Altizer and Mary Jo Horton; his children, Jay S. Altizer (Pamela) and Jennifer A. Canevari (Robert); his grandchildren, Kerri Terry (Will), Melina Canevari (Toby Hagan) and Greg Canevari (Andrea); and his great grandchildren, Kate, Karlie, Graham, Lillie Terry, Asher, Olivia, Oakley Hagan, Abigail, Isabella and Rosalia Canevari.
