With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Algie Poole of Ringgold, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 13, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Ola and Sallie Mayhew Poole; his daughter Anita Poole Watson; and his siblings, Fred Poole, Billy Poole, Mary Nuckols, Herley Hudson and Agnes Trent.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Witcher Poole; his daughters, Ivy Poole Helms and Vickey Poole Sloane; his sister Kitty Waddell; and his caregivers, Helen Poole, Debra Hardy and Tammy Shelton.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Ringgold Fire Department or to Ringgold Baptist Church.
