He was predeceased by : his parents, David Allen Ragans and Rencie Lowery Ragans. He is survived by : his wife Joan Adams Ragans; his sons, Taylor Ragans (Jenna) and Matthew Ragans (Amanda Inman); his granddaughter Adalynn Travis; his sisters, Rhonda Comer (Kevin) and Marilynne Simpson (Carl); and his close friend Keith "Buddyro" Landrum.
