He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sparrow Sr. and Gladys Sparrow; and his brother Jerry Wayne Sparrow. He is survived by: his children, Edward Sparrow III (Lisa) and Samone Chaney (Matt); his granddaughter Lillie Chaney; and his sisters, Carolyn Puckett, Linda Hiatt and Sharon Cassell. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial donations be made to the Church of the Second Coming, 4172 Ringgold Church Road, Ringgold, VA 24586.
