We are sad to announce that, on November 13, 2025, at the age of 88, Elizabeth Powell Sparks of Ringgold, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Guy Powell and Mary Elizabeth Gatewood Powell; her husband David Edward Sparks; and her grandson Joseph Kyle Arriola. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Sparks Adams and James Sparks (Aliehya); her grandchildren, Dan Adams (Sarah), Mary Mills (Chris), Sarah Combs (Noah), David Sparks II (Cami) and John Sparks; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Mills, Camden Mills, Olive Combs and Mason Buchman.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Ringgold Volunteer Fire & Rescue or Ringgold Baptist Church.
