It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Taylor Reece Covington of Ringgold, Virginia, born in Danville, Virginia, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, James Otis Taylor and Irma James Soyars Taylor; her husband Archie Covington; and her son Ricky Gene Reece. She is survived by : her children, Jimmy Lee Reece (Teresa), B. Wayne Reece (Wanda) and Gail Reece Alvis (Michael); her daughter-in-law Dorothy Walker Reece; her grandchildren, Kimberly Reece Mohamed (Mohamed), Jason Reece, Brandy Walker, Ricky Shawn Reece, Taylor Alvis (Linette) and John Alvis (Kristin); her great grandchildren, Jackson Reece, Alivia Alvis and Jensen Alvis; and her sisters, Maryanne Gregory (Gene), Jewel Demont and Vickie Thornton (Ronnie). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
