He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wister Wilkinson and Doris Arrington Wilkinson. He is survived by: his wife Margie Wilkinson; his daughter Stephanie Wilkinson; his granddaughter Katherine Guill; and his siblings, Deborah Bass, Rhonda Day, Phil Wilkinson and Lisa Wilkinson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Ringgold Volunteer Fire Department.
