As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Alena may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Sehnal; and her parent Frantisek Lopatar. She is survived by: her daughter Alena Sehnal (Richard E. Swedberg, Jr.); her granddaughter Angela S. Webb; her great grandchild Joshua A. Webb; her sister Mirka Moulikova; her daughters, Martina Stepankova and Eva Pestuka Giannone; and her sister-in-law Magda Sykora. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Oakey's East Chapel (5188 Cloverdale Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019).
