It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Derescoe Moore of Roanoke, Virginia, who passed away on June 1, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Elmer Moore and Zennie Clark Moore; and his siblings, George Nelson Moore, Loretta Jean Vance, John Thurman Moore and Lawrence Vincent Moore.

He is survived by: his sisters, Mary Beatrice Reynolds of Roanoke, Shelia Dianne Moore of Roanoke, Marzennia Gail Warren of Roanoke, Constance Vereen Turner of Stafford, VA and Juanita Scott of Baltimore, MD. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
