He was predeceased by: his parents, Allison Prettyman Palmer Jr. and Florence Pyne Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Palmer; his sons, A. Duane Palmer Jr. (Michelle) and Brian H. Palmer (LeAnn); his sisters, Joey L. Boitnott and Karen L. Palmer; his aunt Connie Bell; his grandchildren, Whitney M. Toliver (Michael), Hannah L. Palmer, Dakota H. Palmer (Ascheleigh) and Mikayla M. Palmer; and his great grandchildren, Riley and Piper Toliver. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Cave Spring United Methodist Church which would be Duane's preferred donation.
