It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Annette Poe of Roanoke, Virginia, born in Rochester, New York, who passed away on April 18, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Ed Burns; and her siblings, Betty, Ted and Barb. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Poe, Bill Poe (Cheryl) and Susan Freedgood (Charlie); her grandchildren, Dani Poe (Shawn Swain), Ben Poe, Sam Freedgood and Jake Freedgood; her great grandchildren, Quentin Swain, Jackson Swain, Hudson Swain and Harlow Swain; and her sister-in-law Windy Burns. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Christ Episcopal Church or to Good Samaritan Hospice.
