She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Edward Brady Jr. (Ed); her son-in-law Adonis Rickett (Rick); and her parents, Margaret Anderton and Walter Anderton (Dick). She is survived by: her children, Mary Rickett, Kevin Brady (Lisa), Barbara Brady, John Brady (Elaine), Susan Brady (Jesse Robinson), Chuck Brady (Tammy) and Anne Ewers (Kevin); her siblings, Ginny Bennett and Ric Anderton (Lennie); her brother-in-law Jim Brady (Paulina); and her close friend Wendy Warren. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren & three great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oakey's Roanoke Chapel (318 Church Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24016). A funeral service was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church (2505 Electric Rd, Roanoke, VA 24018). A burial was held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at the Evergreen Burial Park (1307 Summit Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24015).
