We announce the death of Barbara Dean Dillon (Roanoke, Virginia), who passed away on August 16, 2026, at the age of 73. She was predeceased by: her former husband Cameron "Buddy" Dillon; her parents, Everett Dean and Annie Belle Dean; her brothers, Donald Dean Sr., Everett Dean Jr. and Jack Taylor; and her son Joshua Allen Adkins.
She is survived by: her husband William Summerfield; her daughter LeAnn Adkins; her grandchildren, Selena Belle Adkins, Kylee Adkins, Alyssa Adkins, Josie Bissell, Shelby Bissell, Makayla Dillon and Jessie Dillon; her sisters-in-law, Annie Dean and Garnet Taylor; and her pet Bunny. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
