With sadness, we share the passing of Barbara Claytor Trail (Roanoke, Virginia). Barbara, born on April 22, 1947 in Covington, Virginia, passed away on July 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Pauline Ogden Claytor and Robert Lee Claytor; and her brothers, Richard Ogden Claytor and Wayne Ogden. She is survived by: her husband Henry Trail; her daughter Jennifer Trail Gaddy (Chad); her sister Kristie Claytor (Charlie); her grandchildren, Haylynn Gaddy (Brauxton), Ashlynn Gaddy (Parker) and Tyler Gaddy; her nieces, Rana Claytor Buchanan (Dean) and McKayla Hoke (Seldon); her nephew Michael Hoke (Amy); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Justis Beverly, Brittney Scott, Zach Hoke and Morgan Hoke.

In lieu of flowers, donations are encouraged to be made in her honor to the Mount Pleasant Rescue Squad at 2909 Jae Valley Rd, Roanoke, VA 24014.
