She was predeceased by: her spouse Ovie E. Nicely; and her parents, Richard C. Garrett, Sr. and Estelle Frances Huffman Garrett. She is survived by: her daughters, Teresa N. Whitehead (Michael) and Carolyn Carrigan (Jim); and her siblings, Richard C. Garrett, Jr., Charles Secrist (Joyce) and Clara Huffman.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Victory Baptist Church (3700 Lombardy Ave, Buena Vista, VA 24416). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM at the same location.
