He is survived by: his daughters, Crista Plazio and Erin Duffy; his friend Linda Duffy; and his siblings, Eileen Haggerty, Tim Duffy and Kevin Duffy.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Basilica of Saint Andrew (631 N Jefferson St, Roanoke, VA 24016).
