He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Fred Ulmer, Lois Ulmer (Hindenach), Nancy Ames (Ghere) and Paul Ames; and his aunt Cheryl.
He is survived by: his parents, Diane Ulmer (Ames) and Gregory Ulmer; and his siblings, Allison Ulmer of Daleville, VA, Eileen Hackney (Daniel) of Broadway, NC and Matthew Ulmer of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
