She is survived by: her sisters, Ruth Raby "Kathy" of Roanoke and Sandra Gordon Alcorn of Montvale; her son Michael Anderson Jr. of Roanoke; and her son-in-law John Maynard "Vince" of Rocky Mount. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
