He is survived by: his daughter Yvette Marie "Evee" Melendez; his siblings, Raquel Guzman, Manuel Melendez, Maria Melendez, Angel Melendez (Sandra), Jose Melendez and Ricardo Melendez (Aida); and his former wife Margaret Brown.
