He is survived by: his children, Michelle Turner, Thaddus Hairston, Eric Hairston and Lloyd Hairston; and his siblings, Gilda Doggett, Patricia Stokes (Cecil), Barbara Slade, Oria Slade, William Slade (Rose), Henry Slade (Connie), Sandy Slade and Albert Slade (Velma). He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM and at 11:00 PM at the Wright Funeral Service Chapel (1425 Greensboro Rd, Martinsville, VA 24112). Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at 116 Melody Ct, Martinsville, VA 24112.
