He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemon Knapp and Zella Knapp of Meadow Bluff. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his sons, Randy Knapp (Amy) of Meadow Bluff, Jason Knapp (Robyn) of Biloxi, MS and Gerald Knapp (Kenda) of Roanoke; his grandchildren, Anna (Chase), Annabell, Hailey, Madison, Charlee, Emma and Jacob; and his sisters, Sue Robinson of Clintonville and Brenda Lewis (Frank) of Hines. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wallace & Wallace, Inc. (283 Main St, Rainelle, WV 25962). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Southwest Virginia Veterans Cemetery (5550 Bagging Plant Rd, Dublin, VA 24084).
