He was predeceased by: his parents, Arney G. Wade and Vera V. Wade. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Starkey Wade; his children, Mike (Tonya) and Margrit (Ollie); his grandchildren, Lauren, Rodney and Amy; and his great grandchildren, Eleanor and Evelyn.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's South Chapel (4257 Brambleton Ave, Cave Spring, VA 24018). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
