Daisy Williams Moore Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 11, 2025, Daisy Williams Moore (Roanoke, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roby C. Williams and Belzora B. Williams; her husband L. Franklin Moore, Jr.; her parents-in-law, Mary Stone Moore and L. Franklin Moore, Sr.; her siblings, Glenn Williams, Perry Williams, Jimmie Williams, Donald Williams and Ruth Turner; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Stone Rutherfoord and Margaret Ehle.
She is survived by: her sisters, Fay Welsch and Edna Hanks (Nelson); her children, Edward Moore (Runan) and Katherine Laws (Rob); her stepson Franklin Bost (Janet); her grandchildren, Alex Moore (Anthony), Preston Moore (Samantha), Mary Stone Eddins (Kit), Jon Laws (Ying), Bob Laws (Leslie) and Becca McNeill (Drew); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Atley, Sage, Calvin, Desi, Miles and Teddy.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Second Presbyterian Church (214 Mountain Ave SW, Roanoke, VA 24016).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to any of the community outreach programs supported by Second Presbyterian Church.
