She was predeceased by: her husband B. L. Markham; her daughter Dana Markham Short; her parents, Lawrence Hobson and Rhoda "Sissy" Quesinberry; and her siblings, Rebecca Prillaman, Alexander and Victor Hawks.
She is survived by: her daughter Rebecca Markham Boone (Kirby); her son-in-law Warren Short; and her grandchildren, Kirby J. Boone, Amanda Boone Crews (Curtis) and Reid W. Short. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
