He was predeceased by: his parents, John Edwin Stover, Sr. and Marie Dawson Stover; his wife Donna Driscoll Stover; his siblings, Alice Stover, Johnny Stover, Jr. (Vicky), Mike Stover and Larry Stover; and his brother-in-law Gene Dodd.
He is survived by: his daughter Beverley; his granddaughter Marissa; and his siblings, Barbara Fogle (Jerome), Janet Jennings (Larry), Brenda Dodd and Jimmy Stover, Sr. (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended relatives.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at 4500 S Peak Blvd, Roanoke, VA 24018.
