She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Eugene Warden and Annie Hamilton Warden; and her pet Garst. She is survived by: her children, James Carter (Barbara) and Stephanie Carter (Hunter); her daughter-in-law Heather Carter; her grandson Landon Carter; her brother Mark Warden (Pat); and her nephew Joshua Warden (Alyson).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakey's North Chapel (6732 Peters Creek Rd, Hollins, VA 24019). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
