She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottavio Bartone and Mary Green (Pape); her brother Anthony "Flan" Bartone of Conneaut, OH; her son-in-law Jim Ward of Roanoke, VA; and her friend Jerry Majnich of Roanoke, VA..
She is survived by: her children, John of Eastlake, OH, Karen Gwitt (Joe) of Roanoke, VA., Jo Ann Ward of Roanoke, VA., Marie Bacon (Tony) of Roanoke, VA. and Tina Renick (John) of Roanoke, VA.. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grand children, 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews.
A Mass will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Nazareth Catholic Church (2505 Electric Rd, Roanoke, VA 24018).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Delores's name to St. Jude's Hospital.
