He was predeceased by: his parents, Hershel Vaughn and Susie Lucille Vaughn; and his brother Hershel Herbert Vaughn Jr.. He is survived by: his children, William Charles Vaughn and Anne Jordan Vaughn (Booke); his girlfriend Margaret Wright; and his sister-in-law Sandra Vaughn.

Dennis Wayne Vaughn, 77, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 16, 2026, after a courageous battle with Parkinson's Disease.
