He is survived by: his wife Sandra Dooley; his children, Robin MacFarland (Jeff), Donna Flournoy (Ray) and Lee Dooley (Chris); his brothers, Kenneth Dooley (Robin) and Buddy Dooley (Nancy); his grandchildren, Eric Shively (Mariah), Chris Roberts, Joey Flournoy (Chandler), Summer Seamster and Shelby Seamster; and his great grandchildren, Nate Roberts, Kayleigh Roberts, Travis Roberts, Leo Flournoy and Bodhi Flournoy. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial gathering was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Simpson Funeral Home (5160 Peters Creek Rd, Roanoke, VA 24019).
