He is survived by: his wife Brenda Tunnell Griffin; his son Donald Richard Griffin, II (Shanon Griffin); his grandchildren, Emerald Anglin, Lauren Griffin and Trey Griffin; his daughter Andria Walrond (Jeff) of Charleston, SC; his grandchildren, Jay, Madeline and Carter Walrond; his sister Linda Light (Jimmy) of Roanoke, VA; and his uncle Sam Griffin of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
