Edward Akers, John B. Akers and Bonnie Firebough; her stepdaughter Kimberly; her grandchildren, Evelyn Hartz, Elizabeth, Charlie and Michael George; and her great grandchildren, Makayla and Madison Hartz. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews and many extended family members and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Book Hotel Antioch Church of the Brethren (2996 Callaway Rd, Rocky Mount, VA 24151). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at the Book Hotel Antioch Church (2996 Callaway Rd, Rocky Mount, VA 24151).
