With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emily Whitehurst (Roanoke, Virginia), who passed away on June 3, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughters, Patricia Holdren and Marsha H. Brantley; and her sister Mary Lou Lovern. She is survived by: her children, Kurt D. Holdren, Beth Hawks, Duane Hawks, Helen Walton, Bill Walton and Bill Brantley.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
