He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Geoffrey Adams and Mollie Bateman Adams; his wife Lorraine "Lori" Keenan Adams; his brothers, Leroy, Jim, Bob and Charles Adams Jr.; and his daughters, Thomasa Adams Clifton and Tanya Adams.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jean Adams Gilreath and Corbin Gilbert "Gib" Adams; his children, Teresa Adams Oberg, Trina Aileen Adams and Taylor Scott Adams; his stepchildren, Ryan Dunagan and Shaun Dunagan; and his grandchildren, Terra Turner Simmons, Mollie Adams McIntosh, Landon Oberg, Benjamin Emery, Elyse Parker, Cheyenne Parker Severt, Lexi Adams and Madison Adams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
