He was predeceased by : his parents, Henry William Ferguson and Bertha King Ferguson; his wife Betty Joyce Weeks Ferguson; and his siblings, Mildred Gish, Betty Rakes, Henry Ferguson Jr., Larry Ferguson and Ronnie Ferguson.

He is survived by : his daughter Vicky; his son-in-law Steve Caudle; his son Tommy; his daughter-in-law Cathy Ferguson; his sisters, Shirley (Don Gillispie) and Judy (Lewis Jones); his sister-in-law Cheyenne Ferguson; his grandchildren, Stacy Prater, Gary Prater and Amber Wright; and his great grandchildren, Oscar, Emma Prater, Wyatt, Nathan Prater, Daxten and Avenleigh Wright.
