She was predeceased by: her mother Gerlene M. Humphreys; and her brother-in-law Jack Dorton. She is survived by: her husband Andy Stevens; her daughter Elizabeth Stevens; her siblings, Danny Humphreys (Martha) and Sheila Dorton; and her close friend Allison Crawford. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Gale's name to the American Cancer Society.
