We announce the death of Gene Arthur Godwin (Roanoke, Virginia), who passed away on July 6, 2026, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Godwin and Willie Godwin. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his daughters, Dawn Leonard (Erik) and Leanne Hall (Pete); and his grandchildren, Anne Hayden, Turner and Emma.
