He was predeceased by: his father Herman. He is survived by: his wife Sandra E. Winter; his daughters, Dawn Winter-Ware and Doretta Winter; his granddaughter Scarlett Ware; his siblings-in-law, Doretta and Bruce Switzer; his nephew Clinton Switzer, Jr.; and his cousins, Lottie Crowder (Clyde), Bernard Lemon (Ruby), Reginald Lemon (Margie), Nona King (Pete), Jimmy Spangler and Jimmy Norwood.

Memorial donations may be made to any Animal Rescue Group or the Pulmonary Fibrosis Research Foundation.
