He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Robertson and Jane Price Robertson; his wife Lola Keith Robertson; his children, Teresa Diane Webb, Donna Sue Thomas, Michael Gerald and David Wayne Robertson; and his siblings, Aubrey, Irvin, Stan, O'dell Robertson, Ramona Kegley and Dolores Robertson.
He is survived by: his daughter Jane Whitlow (Bob); his grandchildren, Diane Eakin (Sam), Scott Wimmer (Michi), Chris Wimmer (Loretta), Angela Janney (David) and Allison Mullins (Mark); his great grandchildren, Wesley Wimmer, Hunter, Katie Wimmer, Savannah, Wally, Robert Janney, Courtney Whitlow, Levi, Lola Mullins and Grace Eakin; and his sister Bettie Hale (John). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to the Virginia Veterans Care Center 4500 Shenandoah Avenue Roanoke, Va 24017.
