He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Thompson and Molly Thompson; and his brother David Thompson. He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Gladwell (Dustin) and Kelci Noble (Josiah); and his wife Judy Thompson.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the John M. Oakey & Son Chapel (305 Roanoke Blvd, Salem, VA 24153). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages everyone to honor Bruce's legacy by helping someone in need, donating to the Bethel Baptist Church Food Pantry, or turning up a Jimmy Buffett song in his memory.
