He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Lyle and Anna Lyle; his wife Peggy Sue Morgan Lyle; and his siblings, Lillye Mae Brua (John) and C. C. Lyle, Jr. (Nadine).
He is survived by: his children, Ann Williams (Danny) and David Lyle (Marni); and his grandchildren, Johnathon Williams, Josh Williams (Jess), Desirae Williams, Jason Williams, Staley Lyle, Holly Lyle, Aubrey Lyle and Grady Lyle.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Oakey's North Chapel (6732 Peters Creek Rd, Hollins, VA 24019). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
They were married for 61 years, and he was her devoted caregiver until her passing from Alzheimer's in 2023.
