He is survived by: his wife Christine C. Boyd; his children, Gordon D. Jr. (Angela), Jonathan M. Boyd of Roanoke, VA and Teonya Dungee (Reginald) of Roanoke, VA; his stepdaughters, Marcia L. Williams of York, PA and Monica A. Williams of Baltimore, MD; his siblings-in-law, Thomas E. Wade of Roanoke, VA, William V. Harper of Roanoke, VA, John W. Harper of Roanoke, VA, Claudette H. Brown of Roanoke, VA, Fern T. Patrick of Roanoke, VA, Geraldine D. Harper of Roanoke, VA, Joanne T. Pridgen (Kenneth M.) of Wilson, NC and Teresa T. Howard of Washington, D. C.; his niece Carmen L. Motley; his great-niece Latresse Motley; his great-nephew Cameron Boyd; and his cousins, Etheleen B. Gravely of Roanoke, VA and Gloria Ward Gravely of Roanoke, VA. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
