He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine "Kitty" Garman and Harry S. Garman, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Emilee Carter Garman; his daughters, Emilee "Emma" Garman and Natalie Garman Shellnutt; his grandchildren, Mikah Secrist, Julian Shellnutt and Isabella "Bella" Shellnutt; and his brother Harry S. Garman, III of Roanoke.
