He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harry Arrington II and Betty Womack Arrington; his grandmother Lucille Womack; his brother Sydney Arrington; and his aunt Carol Womack Beatty (Patrick).
He is survived by: his brothers, Anthony "Tony" Arrington (Robin) and Darryl Arrington; his son James "Jim Jim" Harry Arrington IV; his daughter-in-law Jessica Arrington; his grandchildren, Joy, Jayla, Jamya and Carlos Bond; his aunt Ann Womack Harbor (David); his uncles, Archie Womack and Willie Arrington; his close friends, Raymond "Bull" Claytor, Jesse, Jackie Bass, George Hurt and Sandra Jeffries; and his cousins, Jermaine Arrington and Margie Wiles. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Serenity Funeral Home (126 Gilmer Ave NW, Roanoke, VA 24016).
