She was predeceased by: her parents, James Brown and Frances Scearce Brown; her brother Sandy Brown; and her granddaughter Lindsay Shepard. She is survived by: her fiancé Hugh Myers; her children, Troy J. Akers (Kellie), Monica Shepard (Gary), Joshua S. Akers (Lynn Forbes), Calvin Myers and Crystal Roberts; her grandchildren, Tyler Akers (Sarah), Chad Shepard, Parker Shepard, Alisa Sale (Johnny), Charlotte Akers, Megan Forbes, Jonathan and Sidney Roberts; her great grandchildren, Skylar, Charlie and Hudson Akers; and her siblings, Brenda Jones and Wallace Brown.
