She was predeceased by: her former husband James "Jim" Walker; her husband Steven Randolph Walthall; her children, Gregory Walker and Brenda Via; her stepdaughter Charlotte Harris; and her great grandchild Nathan Rice.
She is survived by: her sons, Clifton "Cliff" Walker and Stefon Walker; her grandchildren, Angela Lovern (Anthony), Aaron Walker, Nathan Via, Dreama Regula, Alisha Marody and Alyssa Walker; her brother Robert "Bobby" Hale (Evelyn); and her stepdaughters, Doris Wright (Dennis) and Wanda Harris (E. G.). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
