He is survived by: his sons, John Burks Jr. (Lil John), Jonathan Allen Burks and Ryan Allen Burks; his stepchildren, Milton Smallwood Jr., Blake Smallwood, Brayden Smallwood, Santana Dotson and Hannah Smallwood; his grandson Brandon Tyler Burks; his great grandchild Everleigh Burks; his sisters, Pamela (Scotty Pilkins), Brenda (Jimmy Dotson), Sandy (Lewis Fletcher) and Karen Lewanick; and his close friends, Frog Mitchem, Bobby Campbell and Danny Williams.
